Visit Mountain of Gorillas - Rwanda
The gorillas of Rwanda are one of the world’s greatest conservation success stories. They are the only primate species on Earth with increasing numbers, and Rwanda has built a thriving industry around gorilla encounters.
Exhilarating and eye-opening, many people find themselves deeply moved by a rare encounter with a gorilla in the wild. While the desire to come face-to-face with a mighty mountain gorilla may understandably lure most adventurers to the Virungas, Volcanoes National Park is also home to rare forest elephants, giant forest hogs, buffalo, black-fronted duiker, spotted hyenas, bushbucks, and several varieties of small predators. The park is also a bird-watching hotspot with more than 170 recorded bird species.

Experience the birthplace of civilization like never before. Many fossils, tools, and other traces of early humans have been found in Africa. These traces provide valuable information about human evolution, and some of the earliest ancestors of modern humans were born there.
The first adult Australopithecus was found in South Africa by Dr. Robert Broom at Sterkfontein in 1936. The second kind of ape-man was found at Kromdraai and named Paranthropus robustus by Dr. Broom in 1938. All these wonderful discoveries only further prove that human life originated in Africa!
